OK, gone and done it, first pair of TXD 151's were purchased today. Delivered Monday.

They now have two weeks and a couple of fairly important gigs to prove themselves. I'll be running these from the Peavey PV-2600 in full-range mode.

Assuming they pass the test, another pair of 151's and the 118's will follow the sale of some of my TMS series. Dont forget, if anyone is interested in my other cabs...

Who makes these - a new one on me! Must be good if you are selling your Turbo stuff to fund them!

You surely wouldn't expect Tech to sell his Turbans and not replace them with another set of Turbansound do you?

I assume maybe he has bought the new Tescosound TXD series we saw at Plasa...

Quite correct Sir! - They are the hallowed Turbosound TXD series!

Orbit, just type TXD151 into Google!

Hehe! - Sorry. I want 4 TXD151's and either 4 TXD118's or 2 TXD218's

I might go for the 118's as I can chop the system around if need be.

Do you run the system active or passive?

Now what did you phone me about the other morning Pee Cee?

I know you were asking questions about renting

Tech I think you'll find Darlo's gear is part of Falling Frog and so he isn't the only one who buys the gear.

Tech is right, we do rent them! However we get them for a very cheap rate which is cheaper than buying them. £45 a time for both sound and light, can't go wrong! We are looking at possibly buying in the future but we may all have gone our separate ways in a few years time once we've all been through uni so we are holding back.

Thats not a bad deal all round, especially for Turbo, and from Brit row too.
